Solar proposal for garden shed From: Beth Thu, Jul 30, 4:32 PM To: BIB POA Board Good afternoon! Now that the solar panels are removed from the garden shed, I have come up with a proposal to put in our own solar system. Having power at the garden shed and bodega will allow us to increase our security with motion lights and cameras. This area was already hit by thieves and we store all of our expensive equipment in theses two buildings, along with the tractor. Currently if there is a medical emergency during nighttime hours and someone needs the first aid kit or AED, it is completely dark not only on the outside of the building but also inside. With power we will be able to run an electric pump to move water from storage into a transportable tank to fight fires. A gas powered pump is very unreliable. This will also allow us to hook up the community compressor that currently has to be transported to someone’s home because we lack enough power at the bean bale house to run it.
